Happy New Year All! Boy oh boy did 2012 fly by fast! Well this year I am gearing up for some exciting stuff including revamping my site a bit, shooting some new and exciting concepts and ideas and making the most of 2012. To kick off the year I am shooting with one of my favorite Los Angeles based indy dress designers Tina Summers of CGH for her 2012 Fall Look Book... she's one of the best. Baby Bump

So one of my really good friends is expecting and asked if I would take some maternity (baby bump) pictures of her. I of course said yes and was very excited since I had never shot maternity photos and it would be something new and different for me. All in all the day was so much fun and very successful. We were able to capture some amazing shots that definitely revealed the true meaning of a mothers love.

I've Been Published in the LA Times!

Early this year I did a lifestyle photo shoot for Kampgrounds of America for their KOA Ventura Ranch location in Santa Paula, California. Is an amazing facility with such great camping amenities. The photo below published in the Los Angeles Times Travel section is of one of their specialty teepee's that family and friends can take advantage up when out on a camping trip.

Downtown Snappin!

I always love shooting in downtown Los Angeles. Amazing brick work, buildings and cityscapes. I always love a grungy urban backdrop which downtown Los Angeles has never done me wrong with. Late May 2011 I did a photo shoot with Ryan (pictured) who was looking to get some images done for himself. We laid out an idea and plan and everything fell right into place. New Year, New Concepts, New Ideas!

Happy 2011 All!

So like I have mentioned before I don't get on here very often but I am really going to make an effort to update my blog on a regular basis. This year has definitely been bringing some exciting projects. I can't wait to see what the rest of the year will bring.

One of the latest shoots I did was with Hersh who is a trick pilot (which is very exciting in itself) and he wanted to do a shoot surrounding his passion and love for flying. Not only did we have the chance to concept some great airplane ideas we also took some individual portrait images as well. The ideas surrounded him in his flight suit at a local airport and I also wanted to play around with the idea of the life of a "jetsetter" theme.

Wow! So it has been quite some time since I have been able to post anything...I have had some really great photo shoots and I definitely am going to be posting some of those shoots soon! The year definitely has started off well and has flown by so quickly! June will be here before you know it. Check back often for updates as I am going to try and get on here as much as possible to post whether it be with my own stuff or great photography I come across.

CowgirlHeaven Palooza '09

Last thursday October 8, 2009 I had the pleasure of being the sponsored photographer at Palooza '09 for fashion week with featured designer Houstina Summers of CowgirlHeaven. She along with Rumple Munkeh and Leondra Renee put on an amazing fashion show highlighting their clothing lines for Spring '10. The models worked the runway in the beautiful designs of these talented designers. Guests even had the pleasure of a performance from upcoming singer Destenee. Anniversary Bandits

For the 6th year wedding anniversary of some very good friends of mine (Micheal and Tina Summers of Cowgirlheaven) they decided to do a themed photo shoot. We had targeted a few locations in Down town Los Angeles and decided on going with the theme of a modern day Bonnie and Clyde with a futuristic twist I guess you could say. It was such a fun day and we definitely produced some fun and exciting photos. They both had great energy and had such natural chemistry with each other; their love definitely shined through.

Chanj Music

I thought I would update you again with another shoot I did back in April. I had the pleasure of working with Alistair Recording artist Chanj, model Suanny Serpas and the Lollipop Artistry team who provided the exceptional styling, makeup, hair, wardrobe for the shoot. Everyone was so great to work with and we had a blast. It was a great experience and we were able to get some amazing shots.

So I haven't been keeping up with the blogging as much as I should and I have had a few really great photo shoots since the last time I posted. We went to 3 locations one in downtown and two in Pasadena that just made the entire concept come together.
